The Philosophy

Holistic Hoof Care is dedicated to the health and welfare of the horse by providing a holistic approach to the maintenance and rehabilitation of the equine foot.

The horse’s hoof is the foundation of its wellbeing.  Careful attention to the maintenance of healthy feet is an important aspect of the care you give your horse.  My practice is focused on creating optimum health for your horse beginning at the feet and offers a holistic trajectory through the equine hoof to promote and sustain the health of the whole horse. 

I utilize techniques which encourage the hoof to fully function, restoring the inherent strength and health to the horse’s foot. 

My practice is informed by the most recent research in the field of hoof science, and I am well versed in the latest innovations in hoof care.  I have experience in the treatment of advanced pathologies of the foot, including laminitis, navicular syndrome, contraction, and white line disease.

The Facility

I provide hoof care services at my barn in Kennett Square, PA. I have two paddocks and an on-site workshop to provide care in the most efficient manner. Services can also be provided at your location with prior arrangement.
